Happy Friday!
My mom is coming to visit this weekend and requested the cornbread pot pie she saw on my Instagram, so I'm making that for her! We're going to spend some time working on the nursery, organizing the closet, and hopefully organizing some kitchen cabinets!
Even though there's only 2 of us in this house, we have somehow taken up a lot of space and now need to make room for the baby and baby things. π¬
Shane and I just finished watching The 5-Star Weekend. I liked the show and thought it was cute, but maybe not as much as other people did. Everyone says the book is better, but isn't that always the case?!
All this organizing has me thinking about the little things that make life easier. Whether you're meal prepping for the week or just looking to spend less time in the kitchen, these are the meal prep essentials I reach for again and again.

β¨ Meal Prep Favorites
βGlass Meal Prep Containers - These are my go-to for everything from meal prep lunches to storing leftovers. They're microwave, freezer, and dishwasher safe, and I love that I can see exactly what's inside at a glance.
βProduce Keeper - One of the best kitchen purchases I've made! It keeps berries, lettuce, herbs, and veggies fresh so much longer.
βSalad Spinner - If you're washing produce for the week, this makes it so much easier. It dries lettuce, herbs, and greens in seconds so salads stay crisp instead of soggy.
βVegetable Chopper - This is my secret weapon for speeding up meal prep. It chops everything from onions to peppers to cucumbers in just seconds!
βGarlic Press - Fresh garlic makes such a difference in recipes, and this garlic press gets the job done in seconds with hardly any cleanup.
βMixing Bowls with Lids - These bowls are perfect for marinating chicken, tossing pasta salads, mixing dressings, or storing prepped ingredients.
βSouper Cubes - Whether you're freezing soup, pasta sauce, shredded chicken, or leftovers, these silicone trays make it easy to freeze perfectly portioned servings that are ready whenever you need them.
βMini Glass Containers - Perfect for homemade salad dressings, sauces, dips, or chopped toppings. I always keep a few in the fridge to make throwing together lunch or dinner even easier.
